I love how goofy and bloody this movie is. My first encounter with it was at a House of 1000 Corpses haunted house at Universal Studios during Halloween Horror Nights. Before I even saw the movie, I fell in love with the characters.
I first watched it in 2019 on my own. I was completely charmed by Sid Haig, so much so that I based a D&D character on Captain Spaulding. This film is hilarious, creepy, and iconic. It holds a special place in my heart.
